This is an excellent article that I tripped upon while scampering the net. My current experiences with Java with respect to web services and web interfaces just make me agree to this in the entire context.

(Do Remember that the article stresses upon Java's application towards rich interface applications and not otherwise, hence it does not directly or indirectly state that it is crap)
